Off to Subic

 ...we decided to go to Subic
...or rather, we decided to have our lunch at Subic.
Days before, my brother kept on telling us how good the steaks are at
 Meat Plus Cafe,
so we planned to try it ourselves, and off we go...

The trip was fast and easy.

The sceneries were natural landscape of farmlands, trees and mountains, which were perfect for sight-seeing.  Thanks to the new SCTEX road.

The city abides strict traffic policy, so remember to:

                                   1)   always full stop at the stop lights, and
                                   2)    first to stop, first to go at the intersections;

At the toll area, we were handed several leaflets on what to do at Subic. What caught our attention was that of the Tree Top Adventure. How we?d to love to try their canopy rides, ziplines and trekking, but for now, so much for that.

Finally, we arrived at Meat Plus Cafe. The staff greeted us as we enter and reserved us a seat. The ambiance was quite good for a fast food resto (pay as you order). The restrooms were also spacious and clean. There were variety of dishes on the menu. We ordered for tenderloin steak, baby back ribs and potato skins. The baby back rib was big and meaty while the tenderloin steak was very tender and juicy even if I had mine well-done. Each serving comes with rice and vegetables, complete with condiments, and it definitely tastes good. No wonder, it's always packed with customers. They also have frozen meats to go and they cater for delivery within the area. Price ranges from P200 ? P600 per person.

     After that sumptuous meal, we did not miss our chance to shop at Royal and Pure Gold. We brought home some groceries...and some more groceries...and a lot more...

Lastly, still we tried our luck and went to Tree Top Adventure,
but as expected, it was already close by 5:00 pm. Anyway, we just did some inquiries, viewing and picture taking. We ended up buying bracelets which we had our names written on it.

At least, we have something to look forward to, hoping we could get back there really soon.

Side Trip:  Found a Korean boutique near Pure Gold. Looking for outfits...has a lot of good finds; from blouses, sleeveless tops, dresses, skirts and jeans, truly Korean fashion.
