The only fish that tasted good to me seems to be only Salmon and Cod. Nomatter how good they are, I could never finish a whole salmon fillet on my own unless it's really really tiny. I'm used to the chinese style of eating a fish where they're served as a dish and not as a main course and everyone just digs into their favourite part of the fish. So I'll always just get myself a tiny bit of it.


I prefer to bake a salmon than to steam it. I seasoned it with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Drizzle with a little olive oil, don't have to be too much as the oil from the fish will all come out when it's baking and keeps it moist. Sprinkle some italian mixed herbs and some chopped basil leaves. A medium fillet would be done in a 200C oven in 12minutes or so. Give it a squeeze of lemon juice when it's hot from the oven and listen to it sizzle!
