POM WONDERFUL . . . is Wonderful!

By Get Off Your Butt and BAKE! (Visit website)

A little while ago, I received a package on my front porch.  I was very excited to say the least, because I was looking forward to this package.  It was from a Company called POM WONDERFUL. They sent me an entire case of the cutest little bottles you ever did see!  I had received an email from Pom Wonderful, asking me if I would be interested in trying their pomegranate juice. They somehow had spotted my baking blog, and thought I might like to create a recipe using this delicious juice. I responded promptly with....."I sure would."  I immediately opened one of the bottles and tasted it's deliciousness.  My husband and I are now hooked! Because Thanksgiving was the next day, I knew that my creation using this juice would have to wait just a bit.

Now....Fast Forward:  In this house, we love pomegranates.  As I was furiously baking and cooking for Thanksgiving Day dinner, I grabbed the three very large pomegranates from the refrigerator, so that I could make our favorite Pomegranate Apple Crunch Salad and noticed the tiny little label on each one.  Guess where these wonderful pomegranates were from......POM WONDERFUL!  "Wow.....that's the same label on my cute little bottles," I thought to myself. My only regret, is that I didn't take a picture of this fabulous salad using their Pomegranates.  I will be making this for our Christmas dinner, and will try to add it then.

I have to admit something... I didn't create a recipe using this tasty juice, but my wonderful hubbie did!  He grabbed a blender and went to work.  He created a delicious thick RASBERRY POMEGRANATE HUCKLEBERRY SMOOTHIE!

Be sure to check out POM WONDERFUL'S website for all the information you will need.  They have also have Blueberry, Kiwi, Mango, Cherry, Nectarine juices as well as some fabulous recipes they share with all of us.

Thanks so much POM WONDERFUL, we love your product!

All natural......no sugar added

RASPBERRY, POMEGRANATE, HUCKLEBERRY SMOOTHIE

2 cups frozen Raspberries

1/2 cup of frozen Idaho Mountain Huckleberries

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1/2 bottle (4 oz) of Pom Wonderful pomegranate juice

*or other flavor

DIRECTIONS:

Blend frozen berries together and then add ice cream.  Slowly add enough Pom Wonderful juice, (about 1 half of their bottle 4-ounces) and continue blending, until nice thick consistency.  If you want it more like a slush instead of a smoothie, simply use ice instead of  ice cream.  Either way, it's delicious.

Thanks again......POM WONDERFUL......you are truly Wonderful!
