Poori Masala
To make Poori
Ingredients Maida and wheat flour( in the ratio of 1:1)-1cup:1 cup Rava/Sooji-1/2 cup Salt -sufficient Water Cooking oil-1/2 litre-For frying the poori Preparation Mix the maida and wheat flour along with the rava and enough water to make a smooth dough.Add the salt also while mixing.Leave the dough for 30 min.Then roll them in to small balls.Make them in to small patties and fry them in oil. To make the masala Ingredients Potatoes-2 medium sized,boiled,peeled,chopped Onion-1 medium sized,chopped Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp Green chillies-2,slit in to half Gralic-2 cloves Curry leaves Cooking oil-1/4 tsp-for seasoning mustard-1/4 tsp urad dhal-1/4 tsp Preparation Peel the boiled ptoatoes and chop them in to small cubes.Mash them well.Chop the onion.In a non stick pan,add the cooking oil.Once the oil is warmed up,add the mustard and urad dhal.Once they crack,add in the chopped onion,followed by the garlic and saute them well till the onion becomes golden brown.Add the mashed potatoes,turmeric powder and little water.Finsh the preparation with the addition of curry leaves.Now the poori masala is ready to be served.... related searches : Poori
