Rajma Paratha with Leonardo Olive Pomace Oil Makes: 10 Ingredients 1/2 cup red kidney beans ( Rajma / Rajmah ) 1 1/2 teaspoon Leonardo Olive Pomace Oil ( for Indian cooking and frying ) 1 cup whole wheat flour ( atta ) 1 green chilli, finely chopped 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 2 tablespoon tomato puree Salt to taste Leonardo Olive Pomace Oil for frying Method Soak rajma in 1 1/4 cup water for 6 - 8 hours or overnight. Pressure cook for 20 minutes on a medium heat or until soft. Allow the pressure cooker to cool naturally. Mash rajma and keep aside. Mix wheat flour, mashed rajma, red chilli powder, chopped green chillies, tomato puree and salt to taste. Knead into soft dough. Apply 1 1/2 teaspoon Leonardo Olive Pomace Oil to the dough and cover with a moist cloth for 15 minutes. Divide into 8 - 10 equal portions. Roll out each portion / ball into discs of 5 - inches each.
Heat a griddle. Place a paratha and cook on medium heat. Increase heat, apply 1/2 teaspoon oil to both sides, cooking and pressing with a flat spatula. Serve hot with yogurt / mint chutney / tomato sauce. related searches : Rajma
