Seafood Marinara
![]() I'm disappointed with E pastas served at Pastamania. I totally do not understand why people go gaga over 'em! I prefer my pasta......anytime! :P Ingredients 1 package linguine/spaghetti - Cooked till al-dente 2 tbsp olive oil 5 cloves garlic - minced 2 onion - chopped/sliced 2 tomatoes, seeded and diced 1 green pepper - cubed 1 can crushed tomatoes 1 tbsp tomato paste 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp dried thyme Mussels/clams cleaned - Prawns Squid rings Button mushrooms Method: Heat 2 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and onion; cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes. Mix in tomato paste and fry for a minute Stir in diced tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes have softened. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, and thyme. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in green pepper, mussels, squid, shrimp and mushrooms. Season with salt and black pepper. Cover and increase heat to high. Cook until shrimp have turned pink and mussels have opened, discarding any that have not opened. Serve over pasta. Top with cheese if preferred. related searches : Seafood
