Simple flavors: whipped cream & blackberry tarts
I am all about no fuss in the kitchen, and when I have unexpected guests, this is one of my tried and true desserts. Mainly because it does not require pastry, but rather sheets of wonton wrappers. I know: EASY! To make it is really simple. First cover your baking molds of preference (I use tart molds) with the wonton wrappers making sure they overlap. Ok, I was having some issues with the wrappers, so you see how easily they can break. But that will be covered with the whipped cream. Not the best photo but you get the idea. Put the molds on a baking sheet and bake in a 350 degrees Farenheit for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. When they are ready set aside to cool down, so they harden in the shape of the mold. Once cooled, fill each shell with whipped cream and top with your berries of choice. Right now I am in a blackberry kick so that is what I am using. Sprinkle some powder sugar on top (optional) and serve. And there you have it. And easy and delicious dessert. Enjoy! I am linking to:
