Still Full

By Eat, Live, Run (Visit website)

Hi guys!

Happy Friday to you!

I decided to combine lunch and dinner in one post today because I got home from lunch rather late (since we had lunch near Ryan’s office in St.Pete) and then had to rush and do laundry before finally settling down for some yoga. I hope yall don’t mind!

I slept like a baby last night and when the alarm went off at 3, I had these deep sleeping lines everywhere on my body. That’s when you know you slept well! haha :) I had a yummy lemon bar this morning—

And then my usual oats around 7:45 with chocolate almond butter (holy yum!!!) and brown sugar. I’ve eaten almost an entire cannister of oats in one week. Can you believe it?!

When I got off work around 12:30 I rushed to change out of my uniform and jump in the car to meet the boy. We ate at my favorite deli over in St. Pete—-City Cafe. I LOVE this place! Its definitely worth the 20-ish minute drive. I always order the exact same thing—the grilled turkey, gouda and tomato sandwich on rye with honey mustard.

It seriously might be the best sandwich in the entire world. Seriously.

This time I did the half sandwich/soup combo because its dropped about 20 degrees today outside and I was really feelin’ the tomato soup! My lunch also came with a little fruit bowl and I also had more than a couple of Ryan’s fries. ;) After lunch they brought us cookies! How cute is that??!! They were very very thin and crispy and Ryan and I split one of them for dessert.

Yep, I stuffed myself. I didn’t know how full I was until 5:00 rolled around and I wasn’t hungry AT ALL for dinner. :(

I got home around 2:30 and decided to do a 60 minute Dave Farmar power yoga podcast after I let my food digest a little bit. It was a great class. Dave actually taped it from when he went to teach in Singapore for the weekend so that was very cool. I love these classes because they really focus on form. Just when you thought you couldn’t stay in reverse half moon for a second longer, he says “3 more breathes here”. Definitely humbling!

As I said, I was totally NOT HUNGRY for dinner. It was a real problem! I didn’t want to just not eat (even though I felt like it!) because I knew if I did that I would either be super hungry around 7:30 when I’m trying to fall asleep or be famished at 3 in the morning when I go to work. So, I decided to just have something light—pb& j and a fage.

I had my pb&j on the new bread I brought home from work—-oatmeal!

This is a very unique bread that we bake daily at Greenwise. It actually contains cooked steel cut oats right in the dough! Along with honey and then we coat the outside with toasted oats before baking. It is very soft and good for you!

It makes pretty much the world’s best peanut butter sandwich. SO good.

Sarah and I decided to do Beth Moore’s Esther bible study. We are SO excited! I ordered the book today on Amazon and we are splitting the cost of the videos so every week we will watch the video together and then do the homework on our own. I can hardly wait to start. And guess what I just found out (Erica, get ready to be SUPER jealous!)—-Beth Moore is coming to Orlando in September!!!!!! I freaked out when I found out actually! She’s going to be at the Deeper Still event and I HAVE to go. I’m already excited about it!

I’m off to fold my uniforms, take a bath and read. Have a GREAT Friday night and I’ll catch you tomorrow—-on MY friday! =)
