Observations

How to store falafel?
You can store them for about 2-3 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator, and about 3 months in the freezer.

Can we prepare falafels in the oven?
Of course, once your falafels are perfectly shaped and ready to cook, all you have to do is place them in the oven preheated to 370°F (190°C) for about 20 minutes. For a crispy effect, you can reduce this time to 18 minutes and finish cooking in “grill” mode.

Can this recipe be made in a pan?
Over medium heat with a little fat (butter or oil), cook your homemade falafels for about 10 minutes, shaking the pan from time to time for even cooking.

Can we use dried chickpeas for this recipe?
Sure ! Remember to soak the chickpeas the day before for at least 12 hours in water. Once drained, mix them to prepare your falafel recipe.

What is the best sauce to accompany the falafels?
You can make a white sauce with yogurt, fresh herbs (mint, coriander, parsley), lemon and a touch of olive oil for example, find our perfect sauce recipe by clicking right here

How to eat falafel?
Serve the falafels as an appetizer, accompanied by a sauce. You can also incorporate them into a pita sandwich, or pair them with vegetables or a salad for a healthy and easy dish.

How many falafels should we serve per person?
Allow between 5 and 8 per person for medium-sized falafels!
