Streets of Strasbourg
While in Strasbourg, France I must have become fascinated by the streets, rooftops and doors...I say that based upon my pictures! Today I am sharing the doorways that intrigued me for their age as well as variety in design and color.
The year above the doorway indicates when the building was constructed! 1761! Wow! This date on this one is 1747! The Strasbourg Cathedral is unbelievable! It was constructed between 1284 and 1439 and is Romanesque and Gothic in design. The spire extends upward 466 feet. I am sending my walk to Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday. Thank you for hosting, Susan!
