Thank You Sir Paul McCartney!

(Gary Friedman / Los Angeles Times)I went to the Paul McCartney show last night with my husband and the Hollywood Bowl. It was the best concert I have ever been to. We didn't have great seats - basically a step-above the nose-bleeds but it didn't even matter once Sir Paul entered the stage and started singing and dancing. It was amazing, he played new songs, old songs, Beatle songs, Wings songs, Paul songs - it was great.

He played tribute to John Lennon by singing "Here Today," a song he wrote after the death of his friend and George Harrison by playing "Something" on a ukulele George gave him. There were fireworks during his first encore song "Live or Let Die, " and it didn't stop there. This 67-year-old musician went on to play around 10 more encore songs from "Band on the Run," "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da," "Lady Madonna," "Hey Jude" and so many more.

This lover of music also dedicated "My Love" to his late wife Linda McCartney, while intimate and personal pictures of them scrolled on the screen behind.  Sir Paul's passion for love and life has truly inspired me.  I walked away from that concert feeling energized despite feeling feeling under the weather that whole week. His music, corny as it might sound, truly made me feel better.

Thank you Sir Paul McCartney for a wonderful show and an everlasting memory that I will hold with me forever.
