White Chocolate Mud Hearts
![]() ![]() Even if you aren't a huge fan of white chocolate you will be of this cake. One of my all time favourite cake mixes that always turns out fabulous. Of course you don't have to make them as hearts, just bake in a round or square cake tin or why not make cupcakes? Any which way you choose to bake it, this cake will leave everyone wanting more! Ingredients: 250 grams of butter250 grams of white chocolate200 milliliters of water1 and a 1/2 cups of caster sugar1 and 3/4 cups of plain flour1 cup of self raising flour2 eggs, lightly beaten1/2 a cup of sour cream1 teaspoon of vanilla essence Method: Grease and flour or line preferred cake tin and preheat oven to 160 degrees celcius.In a medium saucepan place the butter, sugar, chocolate and water and stir over low heat until combined. Leave for 10 minutes.Sift both flours into a large bowl and stir in chocolate mixture.Mix in the eggs, sour cream and vanilla.Pour the mixture into prepared tin and bake until lightly browned or when a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean or with crumbs.Allow to cool completely before covering with icing.*For icing: 375 grams of white chocolate300 milliliters of creamMethod: Place chocolate and cream in a saucepan and stir constantly over low heat until chocolate has melted.
