Yeast Rolls

Good morning! As you can see, I changed my blog look...again! This one is definitely a keeper though, I really like it. Anyway, I've got a really great, FAST, recipe for you this morning. Hot, fresh, tender yeast rolls! I absolutely love fresh yeast rolls, nothing beats 'em. I like my yeast rolls on the sweet side, and my hubby prefers them more savory..so next time I make these I might scale the sugar amount down a bit. I highly suggest trying them out!

Ingredients:
1 1/8 Cups + 2 Teaspoons Warm Water
1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
2 Tablespoons Highly Active Yeast (I used 2 packets)
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Egg
3 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together water, oil, yeast, and sugar..stir and set aside for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, add the salt and egg, mix slightly. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, then the last 1/2 cup. Let dough rest 10 minutes. Break off portions of dough and roll into balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes in a pre-heated 400 degree oven.
