Adding oil to the cooking water

Not using enough water
When cooking pasta, it is very important to fill your pot with plenty of water. If you don't add enough, the pasta won't cook properly and can make it rubbery. You need one liter of water for 3.5 oz (100 gr) of pasta!
Not salting the water enough
It is very important to salt the pasta water before cooking it. Don’t be afraid to be generous with salt. To properly season pasta from the inside, you must respect this golden rule: 1/2 Tbsp (10 gr) of salt per 3.5 oz (100 gr) of pasta and 4 cups (1 liter) of water.
