Air fryer fajitas: a delicious filling in no time!
Fancy some fajitas but don't feel like doing a lot of washing up? Long live the Air Fryer ;-) Here's how to make a fajita filling cooked in the Air Fryer, by mixing all the ingredients together (chicken and vegetables), in a delicious marinade with Mexican flavors. All you have to do is add the toppings of your choice - in this case, we've chosen avocado, lime juice and cilantro - but you can also fill your tortillas with salsa sauce, kidney beans, corn... - 1 Ninja Foodi Flex 10.4 L AF500EU air fryer here
Preparation
- Prepare marinade:
Combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt and pepper. - Chop the chicken, peppers and red onion and transfer to the bowl with the marinade.
- Mix well, cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
*You can proceed directly to cooking if you wish. - Pour the mixture into the air fryer. Set to "Air fry" mode for 15 minutes at 370°F (190°C).
- Stir if necessary.
- Your filling is ready! You can now fill your tortillas.

You can store it for up to 3 days in an airtight container in a cool place.
Can I freeze the filling?
Yes, you can!
How long should I marinate the ingredients?
You can use the mixture as soon as it's ready, or marinate it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 night.
What toppings can I add?
You can add toppings such as nuts or seeds, but we recommend adding cotija cheese or crumbled feta. You can also add cooked corn or black beans.
Can I replace the chicken?
You can of course replace chicken with turkey, beef or even tofu!
Can avocado be substituted?
The addition of avocado is optional!
