The food is traditionally served on big plates. No drinks are being served during dinner. After the dinner water or milk is being passed around. The meal is being ended with coffee. Of course the Libyan cuisine is influenced by the Berber, that is why it is often called a “tent cuisine” but also the Italian cuisine has a strong impact on the libyan cooking.
