A Thanks to my Muse
Today's thank you goes to my wildly creative and talented friend Amy Turn Sharp. We currently know her as the author of the beautifully written Doobleh-Vay blog and as half of the talented team that crafts gorgeous wooden toys at Little Alouette. But soon the whole world will know Amy when she finishes her novel and sells it to a thrilled publishing firm after a heated bidding war.
I want to thank Amy for giving me the courage to reclaim my blog as my personal creative space. Amy's made Doobleh-Vay her personal exploration playground, her place for poetic pieces filled with music and images that will be permanently embedded in your imagination, pictures of her kids, and unforgettably, a haunting taste of her short fiction. You never know what you'll get from one day to the next, but you can be sure that it will be beautiful. Beyond inspiring me with her blog, Amy also inspires me via texts, Twitter, or when we meet to write, write, and write some more. Every few weeks we get together with Abby, Kristen, and a few other creative women to freewrite and celebrate each other's prose. These sessions are my lifeblood, something I only dreamed of finding here in Columbus. Thank you Amy for keeping me writing and keeping me dreaming. * This post was sponsored by Proctor and Gamble through the Motherhood in conjunction with the P&G Thank You Mom Reunions contest. It's a lovely contest, to reunite moms who are in a long distance relationship with their children. related searches : Thanks
