Arcadia Farms helps you escape the hustle and bustle
Every Saturday at 8:30 am with Starbucks in hand, Avery and I leave our home in Fountain Hills for the 30 minute car ride to Old Town Scottsdale area for her ballet class. Every Saturday I have fifty minutes to drive around the area looking for whatever may come my way. One day while driving around I went down a side street (1st Avenue) and came across Arcadia Farms. I already knew about Arcadia, but only thought they had a Pheonix location. I was totally excited and put this on my list to visit one morning when I had the chance. Well, the chance came very soon after when I took Avery to story time at Borders Books and had an hour to spare between ballet and story time. At First, Arcadia had already slipped my mind as I was actually considering going to Sprinkles cupcakes to be the coolest mother ever and allow her 3 year old daughter to have a cupcake for breakfast….THEN, suddenly, I had a DUH moment!! Arcadia Farms, and it was right around the corner!!! We parked in a parking lot close to Arcadia and took a nice short walk as I explained to Avery that she needed to use her best manners and she would have a yummy breakfast. Arcadia Farms only uses “…organically grown, pesticide-free, hormone-free and trans fat-free ingredients in all recipes.” They pride themselves in supporting local farms and cooking healthy sustainable food. All I know is that is it quite delicious and the organic concept is truly icing on the cake! ![]() relaxing and beautiful patio We decided to sit on their beautiful patio and I ordered a water and a fresh squeezed orange juice ($3.0) for the little one. The menu looked delictable and left me with some hard decisions to make. At least I could get Avery’s pick out of the way when I immediately saw “warm strawberry shortcake”. Right up her alley with fresh organic strawberries and vanilla yogurt, only ($6.5). I finally decided upon two farm fresh eggs over easy with bacon, breakfast potatoes and wheat toast ($8.5) ![]() a little girl's perfect breakfast ![]() perfect start to the perfect day Although not very warm, the strawberry shortcake was homemade even down to the strawberry studded biscuit. It had copious amounts of sliced strawberries withsmooth vanilla yogurt and whipped cream. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed it. My basic two egg breakfast had perfectly cooked eggs with applewood smoked, thick cut bacon. It also had their breakfast potatoes which were cooked very nice with peppers and onions but lacked flavor and needed more seasoning in my opinion. My daughter and I really loved our whole experience here and decided we’ll be going on most Saturdays after ballet for a nice mother-daughter bonding time. Arcadia Farms Scottsdale also serves lunch daily and dinner Wednesday thru Saturday. They make wonderfully decadent and eye catching pastries and desserts. Arcadia Farms caters events and welcome private parties with ample space to entertain. More than the peaceful front patio we dined on, they also have their indoor cottage dining room, a back garden patio, a wine room, a bungalow, and a side garden patio! 7014 E First Ave. Scottsdale, AZ 85251 related searches : Arcadia
