Banana Bun

This is speciality dish of the managalore and udipi districts of karnataka in india



Ingredients



Refined flour-2 cups



Sugar-5 to 6 tsps



Salt-to taste



Cooking soda-1/2 tsp



Banana-2 of medium size



Butter milk-1/2 cup



Cooking oil-2 to 3 tsp



Preparation



Mash the bananas to a smooth paste.Add the cooking soda,sugarsalt,cooking oil and make a paste.Add the butter milk,refined flour and knead properly in to a fine and soft dough.Leave it for 5 hours.Make small thick poories and fry till golden brown.serve hot!This can also be taken as an evening snack.You can mix the dough and keep in the morning after you are through with your cooking and fry them in the evening.
