Blue Smoke

By Simply Scrumptious (Visit website)

The conquest continues in the search of the perfect burger. Our leads and research have brought us to a very popular bbq restaurant known as Blue Smoke. Granted this is mainly a bbq place, but they are heavily talked about in the burger department.
Before we talk about that I absolutely have to mention the appetizer, Jackie's Fry Bread With Chipotle Butter.Fry bread is basically a nicer way of making fried dough in a restaurant. The bread itself was so moist and delicious, but the dip, oh the dip. The bread is dipped into a toffee syrup that is truly a conversation stopper. I seriously was talking to Jessie and was saying, "So after we leave here we should--. OH MY GOD!" Mouths gaped, stares into euphoria, and back into reality. Does that do it justice?

Anywho, the burgers. We tried the Blue Smoke Burger and the Hickory Smoked Vegetable Burger. The buns have a savory butteriness to them. Great touch. The Vegetable Burger contained carrots, sesame seeds, scallions, and a whole plethora of veggies. Very nicely blended and cooked.
The Blue Smoke Burger, however, owns so hard. It comes with an optional honey-cured bacon, and it is a must. This burger was so filling, but I trucked and powered through the whole thing because I didn't want a morsel of this baby getting wasted.

As for New York City's burgers, this will be ranked very high. On a side note, I am making an announcement that I am going to compile a list of the 10 best burgers of New York City. The quest has already begun, so let the games begin!

Another note: Our site (Simply Scrumptious), is also going to be guest blogging soon for London Eater. So look out for that. Please go check out Kang's website at London Eater.
