Boobie Cake

By Sugar High (Visit website)

So saturday was my Man's 22nd birthday! I love decorating cakes, and I really wanted to make a special one for his birthday. I decided to go with something naughty and did three dimensional boobs! I had a blast making this cake. I used boxed cake just to make the over all process easier and faster. The fondant decorating was super easy, although I did have to make two different fondants because the first recipe I used just didn't turn out like it should have. But once I got the right recipe everything went smoothly and the end result was fantastic! The Man absolutely loved his cake, and all our friends & family were very impressed. By the way, I don't even have much experience at all with fondant. This is only the 3rd fondant cake I've ever done! Pretty damn good, I'd say. :)

(please don't mind my pictures! It was well after dark when I pulled out the cake. Also, you can't tell cause I've blurred out the nipples, but I wanted to add a little touch so I pierced the left nipple!)

BEFORE

AFTER

Rolling Fondant-

1 T unflavored gelatin
1/4 C water
1/2 C corn syrup
1 T vegetable oil
2 T shortening
8 C powdered sugar
1/4 C cornstarch, for rolling the dough

1. Place gelatin and water in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until gelatin is melted. Remove from heat.
2. Combine the corn syrup, vegetable oil, shortening, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Beat on low speed, and add the gelatin mixture. Continue beating on low speed until a paste is formed. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to let harden slightly.
3. To use, roll the fondant to 1/4-inch thickness, using cornstarch to coat the work surface and the rolling pin. Transfer fondant by rolling it around the rolling pin. Place fondant over cake and unroll it, stretching it into place as necessary. Use a paring knife to cut away the excess. Store unused fondant in an airtight container.

And here's the Man with his lovely cake!
