Preparation
- Heat few drops of ghee, roast the maida for few minutes.
- Meanwhile make a sugar syrup with the sugar, saffron strands, food colour and water until the syrup gets two threads consistency.
- Add the roasted maida, ghee to the sugar syrup and cook until its leaves the sides of the vessel.
- Transfer this to a greased plate, cut as squares.
