Can you tell...

By CIAO-CHOW (Visit website)

I have been busy!
As I mentioned before, I do not have weekends. Saturdays and Sundays are just two other days of the week filled with responsibilities, religious activities (this is the fun part), chores, meetings, preparing for meeting and so forth....Therefore I did not have the time to post anything.

Today (Monday) was a busy day, as I am preparing for a client meeting at the end of the weekend and all my drafting must be completed by then (this is why I get paid!). While at the law library, I chatted with the librarian (she and I have become friends) and she was kind enough to introduce me to this..
KAMBUCHA! I have never heard of it and the name itself is so cute that I wished someone had made a song out of it...anyway... so what is Kambucha?

"Kombucha is a fermented tea that is often drunk for medicinal purposes. There is limited scientific information supporting any health benefit and few studies are being conducted, although there are several centuries of anecdotal accounts supporting some of the health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is available commercially and can be made at home by fermenting tea using a visible, solid mass of yeast and bacteria which forms the kombucha culture which is often referred to as the "mushroom" or the "mother". {Thank you Wikipedia}

I liked the taste, but I am not sure whether it is truly a non alcoholic drink as the fermentation creates some ethyl Alcohol reaction....as a Bahai I do not drink any alcoholic beverage...so this one remains a question mark.

Anyway....

My work out today was AWESOME. I spent 85 minutes at the gym! I know! Great huh??
I notice that on the days of strenght training, if I start with the circuit machines, I tend to stay longer in the gym as I get on a roll!

This is what happens:

20 minutes on machines,
15 minutes of dumbells
15 minutes of mat exercises
35 minutes of Cardio.

I loved it and I felt great after it!

Happy Monday everyone!

A.
