Chicken in Creamy Sauce
What to do with fried chicken? Add some sauce and some veggies.. hubby liked it.. My husband loves mushrooms... I love corn... he loves carrots and peas... and I don`t.. he adores my fried chicken and I`m getting bored with it... he loves my sauce and I do too. No sake for these dish.. Will buy one later.. big bottle of sake for sake cravings.. not for drinking but for cooking, maybe a bit for drinking... Ingredients 300g chicken breast 2/3 cup fresh cream/heavy cream/all purpose cream 2/3 cup milk 1/4 cup bouillon (optional) 50g button mushroom (drained) 1 cup of corn, carrots, peas (yeah..from the frozen bag!) 2 tbsp butter small onion, chopped 2 tbsp olive oil salt and pepper Procedure: 1. Fry chicken breast until golden brown.. add salt and pepper.. to taste..set aside.. 2. In medium heat, add olive oil, butter and saute onion 3. Add mushroom and corn, carrots and peas, salt and pepper 4. then add fresh cream, milk and bouillon. Let it simmer 5. Add fried chicken. Simmer for a minute or two. Serve hot..
