Good Morning Hope your Friday is off to a great start! Unfortunately day 2 of my workout commitment has failed miserably. Classes @ the gym were cancelled this morning due to the terrible snowstorm we got last night(2 maybe 3 inches of snow) haha. Sooo that means I have a date with Jillian later today to get me sweating. But for now i’m laying in bed, reading food blogs, drinking a green smoothie, and eating a pecan praline Nourish bar. If thats not a perfect way to spend the morning i’m not sure what is.

Now enough of what I am really having for breakfast and on to what I wish I was having, dark chocolate ice cream! Chocolate Banana Soft Serve Ingredients: 2 medium bananas frozen 1 tbsp dark cocoa powder 1/2 tbsp coconut oil 2 tbsp almond milk 1/2 tbsp maple syrup 1 tsp cacao nibs Directions: Pile your ingredients,except the nibs in to your blender and blend until smooth, adding more almond milk as needed! Garnish with cacao nibs and devour! Serves 2
Oh well at least it was simple and I have an excuse to make some for lunch If that dish didn’t give you the chocolate fix you were searching for hopefully this one will. Dark Chocolate Pecan Butter Ingredients: 1 C pecans, raw 2 oz dark chocolate, chopped 1 tsp coconut oil 1/4 tsp salt Directions: Place pecans in a food processor and process 5-8 minutes or until they start to resemble a nut butter. In the meantime melt chocolate and coconut in a small bowl over a double boiler. Drizzle chocolate mixture into processor while its running and process a few more minutes until silky. Add salt and taste!
