A delicious tart made with Mc Vities cookies, caramel, a chocolate ganache and an Easter egg topping !

  • Easter tart, chocolate and caramel - Preparation step 1Crust :
    Blend the cookies, add melted butter and blend it all.
  • Easter tart, chocolate and caramel - Preparation step 2Grease a pan and pour the cookies + butter dough in it. Spread with a glass and a spoon. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Easter tart, chocolate and caramel - Preparation step 3Pour the caramel in the crust. Find the caramel recipe in the observations below the recipe ! Freeze for 30 minutes or refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Pour the hot cream on the chopped chocolate and combine to make a creamy ganache.
  • Easter tart, chocolate and caramel - Preparation step 5Pour the ganache on top of the caramel. Refrigerate the tart for 15 minutes. Add Easter eggs in the ganache and refrigerate again for 45 minutes.
  • Easter tart, chocolate and caramel - Preparation step 6There you are, your Easter tart is ready ! You can add some crushed Easter eggs on top :-)

Observations

Caramel : It's better to use salted butter caramel or homemade caramel. It has to be thick :-)
How to make homemade caramel? We have a toffee caramel recipe just for you :
➤Melt the butter and add the sugar. When this mix starts to boil, add the condensed milk and stir.
➤Then, at medium heat, constantly stir the mix until it gets light brown, it should take around 10 minutes.
➤Pour the toffee directly on the crust in the mould, then put in the fridge for 1 hour (or freeze for 30 min).
