Creamy Chicken Triangle Puffs
So one of my favorite recipe blogs to read is Laila’s Blog. I love learning new things to cook and she has great Middle Eastern recipes and just wonderful recipes in general. This recipe is my version of her Creamy Chicken Puffs. Creamy Chicken Triangle Puffs What you need: - olive oil - pre-cut square puff pastry dough (these are to be kept frozen so make sure you defrost these for about 20 minutes before you can stuff them) - spring onions (diced) - garlic (minced) - 2 chicken breasts (cut into small 1inch squares) - half a carrot (cut into small cubes) - 3-4 large mushrooms (cut into small cubes) - handful of raisins - 3/4 to 1 cup of fat free cream cheese - milk (to brush on top of your puffs) - seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic salt) - curry powder (I just used about a teaspoon or so) 1. Heat the oil then add the spring onions. Then add the garlic. 2. Add in your diced chicken breast and season to taste. Cook chicken thoroughly. 3. When chicken is cooked, transfer into a large bowl. Don’t pour all the juices into the bowl because you don’t want your filling to be too watery 4. Mix in the mushrooms, carrots and raisins. Mis in the curry powder as well. 5. Slowly mix in the cream cheese. 6. Stuff your square pastry puffs in the middle and fold into a triangle. Close the edges using a regular fork. 7. Place on a baking sheet that is lined with aluminum foil. Brush with milk on top. 8. Bake in the oven at 375F for 30 minutes or until golden. Then enjoy!
