Creamy onion pasta: a tasty and super cheap pasta dish!
A vegetarian pasta dish that brings out the sweetness and versatility of onions. Super cheap and very quick to prepare, pasta with onion cream is a recipe to keep on hand at all times: it will save your life when friends or relatives suddenly land at your house. Serve it for lunch or for a quick dinner, it will amaze you with its delicate and enveloping taste!

Preparation
- Cut the onion and garlic into very thin slices.
- Drizzle some olive oil and a knob of butter into a pan. Then add the onion and garlic and let them brown for a few minutes.
- Deglaze with white wine and wait for the alcohol to evaporate. Then add 1 large glass of water and continue cooking for 10 minutes (medium-high heat), stirring frequently.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water.
- When the onion is cooked, blend it until creamy. Then pour it back into the pan and add the fresh cream and pepper.
- Continue cooking until the cream thickens, then add finely chopped parsley and stir.
- Drain the pasta al dente, pour it into the pan with the onion sauce, and toss quickly.
- Plate and sprinkle with black pepper. Your pasta with a creamy onion sauce is ready!

Can I store the creamy onion pasta?
Yes. Put it in an airtight container in the refrigerator (maximum 1 day) and before eating it, mash it in a pan with a little water to make it creamy again.

We used linguine but you can also choose short pasta shapes such as rigatoni or fusilli.
