De Toren Diversity Delta 2003

Este Sul Africano é parte integrante da Seleção da Africa do Sul e participa da Copa do Mundo dos Vinhos. Produzido na região de Stellenbosch com Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot , Petit Verdot em partes quase iguais.  O produtor De Toren está localizado nas encostas dos montes Polkadraai e abrange uma área total de 26ha, dos quais 21,9 são de vinha. A região de Stellenbosch é muito bonita, veja a foto do topo.


Uma curiosidade sobre esse vinho é que ele foi descontinuado da linha da De Toren e está “Sold out” na maioria dos distribuidores. Você ainda encontra na Expand.


Segundo notas de prova da eWine, o vinho é elegante, com sabores de morango e toques de carvalho. Taninos um tanto doces e um final longo. Segundo o fabricante, você deve decantar o vinho antes de beber. Eu nunca experimentei esse vinho e logo isso será corrigido.
