Delicious Apple Raisin Purse Recipe
I love apples, baked with brown sugar and cinnamon. Reminds me of my grandma and how she would bake apples in the oven with butter and brown sugar. I love those. I also love apple pie esp the crust. Here is a recipe for an apple purse. Have you ever heard of them? I use delicious apples for this recipe, but you could use green apples if you want a tart taste, it's really up to you and what you prefer. This apple purse has a filling of apples, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, raisins and a pastry crust to die for. When I made this recipe,I had some filling left over. You can always roll more crust to how ever much filling is left. As this is another experiment of mine in the kitchen, I am still working to prefect this recipe.4Apples diced 1/2 cup raisins3tbsp light butter 3/4 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend 1 tsp cinnamon 1 or 2 boxes of Pillsbury Ready Made Crust(unroll and fill) Egg white 1.In large skillet melt butter and brown sugar. Add diced apples and raisins.Saute until apples are tender. Sprinkle with cinnamon. 2. Unroll pie crust. With a rolling pin on a floured surface, roll 2 to 3 packages of dough into a large square, being careful not to roll to thin. 3. Cut into 12 inch squares. Spoon filling into each square. Bring corners of dough together and pinch closed .Brush purse with beaten egg white, and sprinkle with granulated sugar. 4.Bake at 400 until crust is golden brown. Enjoy! related searches : Delicious
