Flan de Platano y Canela - Banana and Cinnamon Pudding

Asturias tiene muchas cosas buenas pero lo mejor es todos los productos frescos a los que allí tengo acceso. Entre la leche, las lechugas, cebollas, chorizos, puerros y demás me quedo con los huevos. Lo de ir al gallinero por las mañana y coger huevos frescos es un lujo con mayúsculas.

Así que en honor a los huevos frescos aquí teneis flan de plátano a la canela. La receta la encontré en una revista de cocina . Es simple y salieron bien ricos.

Asturias has plenty good things but the best of all of them is having access to fresh products. Among the fresh milk, lettuce, onions, chorizos, leeks and so I take the fresh eggs. Going in the morning to the henhouse and taking the eggs is a luxury with capital letters.

So honoring the fresh eggs there you have this cinnamon and banana pudding. I found the recipe in a cooking magazine. It´s simple and they turn out quite good.

Ingredientes

Para 6

4 plátanos

370 gr. leche condensada

2 Dl. de leche

4 huevos

1 limón

4 cucharadas de azúcar

8 galletas Maria

1 cucharadita de canela en polvo


Direcciones

Preparar un caramelo con azúcar y repartir en la/las flaneras.

Cortar los plátanos en trozos e introducirlos en un recipiente de paredes altas. Añadir las galletas Maria troceadas, la leche condensada, la leche, los huevos, la canela en polvo y una cucharadita de ralladura de limón. Mezclar con una batidora.

Verter la mezcla en el/los moldes previamente caramelizados. Cocer los flanes al baño Maria , en el horno precalentado a 180º, durante unos 40 min. o hasta que el/los flanes estén cuajados.

Dejar enfriar los flanes fuera del horno. Conservarlos en el frigorífico.

Serves 6

4 bananas

370 gr. condensed milk

2 dl. milk

4 eggs

1 lemon

4 tablespoons sugar

8 cookies Maria

1-teaspoon ground cinnamon


Directions

Prepare toffee with sugar and spread it in the pudding mold.

Cut the bananas and place them in a food processor. Add the cookies, condensed milk, milk, eggs, ground cinnamon and a teaspoon of lemon zest.

Place the mix in the mold previously caramelized. Water boild the puddings in pre-heated oven at 180º during 40 min.or until the puddings are set.

Let them cool out of the oven. Keep them in the freezer until serving.
