This is my hub's favourite pork dish but not my kids.The kids just help themselves with the pork and never touched the leek at all...lol
Chinese Leek are readily available all the time in Singapore and thus this is quite a common dish in our household.
Season pork belly with light soy sauce , a little salt and white pepper for an hour.Wash leek properly to get rid of soil and dirt and cut leek diagonally .Sautee pork belly till browned and fragrant. Add in minced garlic and leek and fry over high heat for a minute or two. Add a little water and light soy sauce and fry over medium heat till leek are soft and sauce thickens.Serve hot immediately with steamed rice.
