Great Texas Sausage Festival, Somerville, TX, May 22-23, 2010

The
first annual Great Texas Sausage Festival
is
a Burleson County Chamber of Commerce event sponsored by Slovacek's
Sausage and Chappell Hill Sausage Company.  The event will be held
on Saturday and Sunday, May 22-23, 2010, at Welch Park on Lake
Somerville; beginning at 8am.  Admission is $5/person and kids
5 years and under are free. 



Featuring the best Texas made sausage
producers.  Events include Outdoor Volleyball Tournament (cash and
recreational brackets), The Great Texas Sausage Dog (dachshunds)
Championship Races, Classic Car Show, Arts and Craft Booths, Sausage
Eating Championship, and live Texas Country Music. Texas' Unofficial
Start Summer Party!!!
