She failed to win overHeidi Klum as a contestant on Germany's Next Top Model, but Hana Nitscheappears to be having the last laugh after securing a high-profile job as theface of PETA's latest campaign. The black-and-white poster shows the25-year-old posing naked, with the tagline: 'Fur? I'd rather go naked!' Shefollows in the footsteps of Pamela Anderson, Alicia Silverstone and Eva Mendesin supporting the animal rights group.
Model example:Hana Nitsche, who was second runner-up on Germany¿s Next Top Model is the starof PETA's new campaign.

Klum isa notable absence from the line-up of PETA ambassadors, though the company didapproach the supermodel back in 2008 as part of a plea to stop stars wearingArmani after it used fur in a winter collection. Nitsche admitted that shefound the Germany's Next Top Model host intimidating during filming of the showback in 2007.

'Shewas a bit intimidating,' the model told FOX411. 'It?s such a strange feeling tostand in front of a model who always been your idol, and now she is a judge andcriticising you.' 'I get so nervous and shy, you would not even believe it?sthe same girl from the pictures,' she admitted.
