Iconic Dresses: Audrey Hepburn at Breakfast at Tiffany's
Title says... Iconic Dresses As in dresses with the "es" but there's just one in this post. Want to know why? Because this is the first of several more (I'm not telling the exact number, where's the fun in that?) I've come up with my own list of the most iconic dresses or outfits (yup, my own list... so go easy on me, okay?) then try to re-create them in sugar cookies. The operative is "try" since I may or may not replicate it detail by detail... but I will try... my. very. best. I love challenges. So, the first iconic dress is... ta - dahhh... Audrey Hepburn's dress in Breakfast at Tiffany's. A few trivia about this movie: Tiffany's opened its doors on a Sunday for the first time since the 19th century so that filming could take place inside the store. Although not visible on camera, hundreds of onlookers watched Audrey Hepburn's window-shopping scene at the start of the film. This made her nervous and she kept making mistakes. It wasn't until a crew member nearly got electrocuted behind the camera that she pulled herself together and finished the scene. Audrey Hepburn hated Danish pastries, making filming the famous opening scene a bit of a chore for her. Audrey felt that she was miscast as Holly Golightly in this film, although it was one of her most popular roles. Here's how I did it. Happy Cupcaking!
