In-Flight Bento and Contest

It’s time for another fun activity.  It’s my “Where in the world is Debra?” contest!

The  excitement never stops!

I ’m on a trip and this is was my in-flight bento. ( a hint)  But first the bento details:

Salted brown rice musubi with nori.

Fried tofu.

Beni-shoga.

Tomato.

Cucumbers.

Okay now to the good stuff.

Contest Rules:

The  contest is open to everyone except for friends and family (that means you too Saba Man) 

Just leave a comment with your guess; you can enter a guess  twice a day.

The prize will be bento-stuffs and a bento cookbook …winner’s choice.

One  winner will be selected randomly amongst all the correct guesses.

You just need to name the CITY.

The contest starts now and will end October 20th, 2010 at 6:00 pm Pacific Time.

You can also ask a question …I might  answer you as the hint of the  day!

Flying home on Alaska Airlines!

I visited a cactus garden!!!

Some of you have already guessed correctly that I am NOT on the East Coast!

Did I mention that I “talked” to John Stamos!”  I said “Hi, thanks for letting me take your photo”.  He said, “You’re welcome!”  And he gave me a sparkling smile!  Alas, the photo was blurred because I my hands were shaking.

I was terribly “star-struck”!

but I did manage another side shot.  He was sitting at the “table” next to me!

Here we go…drum roll…the winner of the Where in the World is Debra contest is Claire!  And she has selected the The Manga Cookbook from Amazon.  Claire says her daughter will enjoy this cookbook too.  Sounds like fun bento-times ahead!  Claire will also receive some bento gear to go along with her new bento cookbook!  Congratulations Claire!
