Ipoh Old Town Second Mistress Lane

By LET'S WALLOP!! (Visit website)

Three of us went for lunch in old town, Ipoh, Koe Kei... (direct cantonese translation)... this shop is situated at the back lane, famously known as Second Mistress Lane during the 1960s... whereby men used to frequent that lane because of their mistresses staying there.. how much is true, I do not know. :)
Anyway, coming back to Koe Kei, this shop is famous during the 1970s till now.... the food is nice, the price is reasonable but one tip though.. wear your 100% cotton shirt.... u will be more comfortable.. if u know what i mean.. heehee...

watercress with roasted pork..
signature dish..

steamed "song" fish...

steamed 3 different types of eggs...

the 2nd mistress lane...
very authentic surroundings...
