Kolambi Bhaat (Shrimp Biryani)
Kolambi Bhaat (Shrimp Biryani) is a very popular GSB dish. It is shrimp marinated in various spices, sauteed and cooked with rice and onions. My mother makes THE BEST kolambi bhaat. So she has shared her special recipe with us today on this blog. This is my entry for the BloggerAid cookbook. Soak specified amount of rice in water. Cook shrimp with onion, tomatoes and some more spices. Add the soaked rice and salt to taste. Garnish with coriander leaves once the rice and shrimp is cooked.
