Loquat orange pops

Native to southeast China, loquat is soft and bright orange when ripe.  The peel comes off easily to expose sweet, juicy flesh that browns quickly when exposed to air. This is actually my first time eating fresh loquat and have fallen in love with this tree fruit.



With a proliferate loquat tree in the backyard, I decided to make some ice pops with my tovolo molds. Yum!

ingredients

3 cups loquat fruit, peeled and pitted
1/2 cup orange juice
directions

puree loquat in a blender. 
pour into freezer pop molds and top of with orange juice
freeze overnight
