- Cook rice in the microwave .While the rice is cooking, prep the vegetables and get them ready.
- Place a pan on the stove on med-high heat and add oil.Once the oil heats up add cumin seeds and pepper powder and let them splutter.
- Now add the diced capsicum to the seasonings and fry for 3 minutes. Now add cut mushrooms and turmeric to the pan and stir it.
- Let them cook for few more minutes.Mushroom tends to leave water. Cook till the water reduces or evaporates.
- Now add the diced tomatoes and stir the veggies and cook them for few more minutes. Now add salt and pulav masala powder to the vegetable mixture.
- Finally add rice to the vegetables and mix well till all the ingredients blend in well.
