These 2 colorful and refreshing fruit salads will transform your summer!

When the stalls are overflowing with juicy, colorful and fragrant fruit, a simple idea comes to the surface: why not make a fruit salad? But not the sad version you'd leave out of a buffet. At Petitchef, fruit salad is festive, ultra-fresh and above all... terribly tasty ;)

Summer is the perfect season

Cherries, apricots, watermelon, strawberries, raspberries... All these fruits at the peak of their season are naturally sweet, bursting with water and sunshine. They're good enough on their own, but put together in a well-thought-out salad, they become downright irresistible.

Two examples to try:

A melt-in-the-mouth, tangy combination, enhanced by a touch of vanilla and a dash of lime juice to bind it all together. A simple dessert, but one that always makes an impact at the end of a meal!

Here, it's all about extreme freshness! A chilled watermelon cut into logs, plump cherries, melting raspberries... Spiced up with lime zest and a few mint leaves. It's simple, but it tastes great :)

Why do we love fruit salads?

  • Ultra-quick to prepare: no need to turn on the oven or spend hours in the kitchen.
  • Perfect for finishing off a barbecue, picnic or summer lunch.
  • Adaptable at will: no apricots? Use melon. No cherries? Go for blueberries!
  • Dietetic without being sad: fruit remains the pleasure dessert that's good for you.
  • Serve as you like: in pretty glasses, in jars for picnics, or even in individual verrines for a "chic without fuss" effect.

In a nutshell

Long live fruit salads, but in the summer of 2025, they've been worked on, flavored and showcased like real stars on the table. What's more, it's the perfect excuse to refuel with fruit... without the guilt ;)
