Meat and Mushrooms Mac au Gratin
An easy version of mac & cheese. A dish for everyone! Ingredients A box of macaroni pasta (about 1 lb). one onion a mix of mushrooms (baby portobello and white mushrooms) already sliced. 3 steaks with no bones and no fat 1/4 cup heavy cream 1 cup shredded swiss cheese. Cook your pasta according to the instructions on the box. Strain. Dice your onions and add them to a big skillet with a tbsp of butter. Add your mushrooms to the pan. ![]() Follow by the meat: I cut out the excess fat on the steaks then I place them in a food processor and I pulse about 5 or 6 times. This is a great way to control the amount of fat you are actually putting into your ground meat. Let everything brown. When the pasta has been drained. Add it to a big salad bowl, pour your veggie-meat mix in and combine all ingredients. Place them back into the pot you used for the pasta and let everything heat up again. Pour in the cheese and the cream and mix everything until the sauce has thickened slightly. ![]() Pour everything in a baking dish, sprinkle a little more cheese on top and place in the oven at 400ºF for about 15 minutes. ![]() Eat it as soon as it comes out of the oven! related searches : Meat
