Meat Patties
![]() Simply put....a pretty basic rissole ;) They need to be basic though because these meaty little gems are fantastic chopped up and served on top of the 'Croatian Potato and Peas' and also with a few other yet to be published recipes. They also make great hamburger patties and they can also be stuffed with a piece of cheese so that once they are cooked you can cut them open to reveal a sea of yellow, gushing out onto the plate. Just excuse the photo. These patties were about to be the kids dinner ;) Enough said, enjoy..... Ingredients: 500 grams of beef mince400 grams of pork mince1 onion, finely diced1/4 of a cup of breadcrumbs2 slices of bread1 level soup spoon of paprika1 level soup spoon of vegeta1 eggsalt and pepperoil for fryingIn a large bowl mix together beef and pork mince.Wet the two slices of bread with water and squeeze out excess. Break pieces into the beef/pork.Add in the rest of the ingredients, except oil and mix until thoroughly combined. Cover and rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.Make up patties around the size of your palm and fry in a frying pan with oil until cooked through and brown on both sides.
