PAAL KOZHUKATTAI
Ingredients : Rice flour ? 1 cupPowdered jaggery ? 1/2 cupMilk ? 1 cupCoconut gratings ? ½ cupCardamom Powder ? ½ teaspoonSalt ? a pinch Method: In a pan put 1 cup of rice flour and fry till it is hot to touch.Boil two cups of water with salt.Put the fried rice flour and mix it.When it is hot enough to touch ,make a small balls. In a vessel pour 1 cups of water and 1 cup of milk bring to boil.When it starts boiling, put the rice flour ball .Do not stir until it is cooked.Then gently stir.Allow to cook again. Add ¼ cup water to the jaggery powder and bring to boil .When it completely melts and starts boiling, take out from stove and strain it.Add this to the kozhukattai. Stir gently.When all mixed well, add cardamom powder and coconut gratings. Mix well and remove.It will thicken when it is cooled. related searches : Paal Kozhukattai
