Pie is Berry Good For Me!
Hey everyone, I know my posting schedule today was a little strange. Why I am posting dinner at 11:20pm is beyond me. But I like starting each day fresh with an empty memory card. It?s the I spent most of the afternoon taking a massive nap. boo! I was really happy I was feeling tired this afternoon in hopes that I would fall asleep at 10pm like a normal person. Sleeping at night, what a concept. But unfortunately I took a 2.5 hr nap so I think I?ll be enjoying another sleepless night. At 5:50 Max showed up, I love that boy! We had dinner together, he had a burrito and steak quesadilla from Tico?s Tacos and I had Minestrone Soup with Parm. I know I?m enjoying this soup a lot, but I really like it and it makes me happy. So soup with parm will live on? for now anyways. While we enjoyed dinner together my dad came home with a treat. Lala Berry Pie! Oh I die of happiness. There was also some vanilla ice cream but I like my pie untainted. No need to contaminate flavors with ice cream. Berry pies are a favorite dessert, this one was a little heavy on seeds, slight disappointment, but other than that the berry filling was spot on. Slightly tart but naturally sweet. The crust was flaky and moist. I?m feeling like tomorrow morning might be a slice of pie for breakfast? Sometimes you just have to do it! DSLR from Tina DSLR is something going on on Tina?s Blog Faith Fitness Fun during the month of September. It?s a challenge to complete 30 Days of Self Love and Reflection, I?m sad I forgot to post this yesterday but at least I?m getting it out there to you now. To read all about it from Tina, click my Are You In? Button on the left sidebar. That link will take you directly to the ?About? write up and explanation of the mission. I want to do a small post about my reflections from Tina?s post each day that I remember. Today?s post was all about loving your body, specifically parts that you might have had trouble loving in the past. I posted I love my nose which links me to my heritage. I have the nose, my mother has it, my grandmother has it. I love my thighs which show my strength. I love my flat feet because they squeegee on the floor after taking a shower or swimming and they always make me smile. I think it?s important to love every part of your body. I was very insecure about my nose growing up. It?s definitely not a perfect little ski slope like so many girls have. But now, I love my unique feature. I love that I can easily see the resemblance between me and my late grandmother in photographs. Learning that beauty comes in all sizes is the biggest lesson I?ve learned and actually accepted in the 8 month?s since starting this blog and journey toward health and wellness. Once I accepted myself most of my issues with weight and self loathing disappeared. Please check out the 30 DSLR on Tina?s Blog. I believe all participants have the potential to experience something truly life changing. Just a reminder, if you are on facebook, twitter, or digg check out my pages and add/friend/follow/share with me. The links are on my left side bar. Simply Maren also has a facebook page that I?m working on a button for, so become a fan here. I actually have 2 fans already, I love it. How many of you are part of Tina?s 30 Days of Self Love and Reflection? What do you think so far? related searches : Pie
