Pomfret Fish Curry
Ingredients
For Grinding 2 Medium sized Pomfret 1 Cup/ 2 Handfuls of shredded coconut 3-4 Kashmiri chillies/as per taste 1 Tablespoon of Coriander seeds 1/4 Teaspoon of Cumin/Jeera seeds 2 Cloves of Garlic 1/4 Medium onion Marble size ball of Tamrind 1/4 Teaspoon of Turmeric Salt to taste. Add to the curry 1/2 onion sliced Method Grind the ingredients for grinding to a fine paste. Add the sliced onion, to the curry and boil it. Cook for about 5 minutes. Clean the Pomfret, wash it thoroughly. Once the curry is cooked add the Pomfret and the salt. Boil for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot with rice. Tips: You need to add a little more salt to the curry as the fish needs salt otherwise it tastes bland because of the lack of salt. Fish does not take a long time to cook, if you cook it for long then the flesh gets separated from the fish bone, the fish turns into a plup. related searches : Pomfret
