Pop Corn

Everyone likes pop-corn and I know most of u might be doing this at home. Two days back I made these for my son for his school party.

Ingredients:

Dry Corn- 1 cup
Oil- 2 tbps
Pepper-1/2 tsp
Turmeric pwd-1/2 tsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Method:

Heat oil in a large non-stick pan with a lid. If you don't have a large pan make use of a large pressure cooker.
Add all the other ingredients when the oil is hot.
Stir continuously in low flame for about 5 minutes.
When the corn begins to pop reduce the flame to very low and close the lid.
The important thing to note here is that, only after the corn begins to pop one should close the lid.Until then, you shoulod be stirring to prevent the corn from burning.Keep the lid ready.
With the lid on, give the whole pan a good shake in between.
Never open the lid in between.
Switch the fire off after you do not hear the popping sound.
Open, transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy.
