Quick Hi!!
This is just a quick post! Lisa has arrived and I'm enjoying the much needed girl time with her!! I miss blogging and I have so many posts to catch up on reading but that will have to wait until Monday!
On Tuesday I went and got my haircut...nothing super drastic but a couple inches off and more layers and BANGS! Yesterday I took Lisa to the new mall here and we have a new store called Bass Pro Shop...it's a cool store and the detail that went into it are unreal! We got alot of walking in yesterday...my legs were sore by the time we came home. These are pictures of the store.... A super close up self portrait of Lisa and I! Lisa was very sweet and gave me $100 for belated Christmas and B-day. Can you believe I couldn't find much to buy?! I did get these which I'm excited about: I also bought these which I shouldn't have, but at least I only bought the two pack and not the box!! (Baby steps right?!) I've been trying really hard to watch what I'm eating but I have been eating some extra's. The day she arrived we took her for lunch to the Greek restaraunt but my order was messed up so no pictures.... Today hubby and I are taking Lisa to see Avatar 3D...so excited!! Then we only have 2.5 days left...BOO! The time goes too quickly! Not sure what's in store yet for the weekend. Here are pictures of meals from the past 3 days: Sunday: 2 pc toast 2 Tbsp P.B/1 Tbsp jam and 1 coffee. Lunch was at the theater, I had an individual 8' veggie pizza and a diet coke. This was our final salad challenge and hubby made a Chocolate Bliss Waldorf Salad It was surprisingly good!! We served in on spinach. (We used light mayo and pecans) "Fried Rice" with tempeh cooked in Frank's Red Hot. Mmmm.... Monday: Amazing Grass w/1c chocolate soy milk 2pc toast 2 Tbsp P.B/1 Tbsp Jam. My mom took hubby and I out for lunch but I did really good! I just split one plate with my mom. It was 1 shrimp skewer, handful fries, and 2 triangles greek bread w/tzatziki. Very small portions. I also had a small nonfat mocha no whip....forgot my camera :( Dinner was homemade veggie pizza... Amazing Grass, 1c vanilla soy milk, 1/2 banana. Tuesday: 1 egg + 1 egg white, 15g cheese, 2 pc toast. I was craving cereal for lunch so that's what I made! 1c honeynut Cherrios 1 banana, 1c 1% milk. This was a recipe from one of my slow cooker books called "Mushroom Cholent". It was just ok...a bit too starchy tasting for me. I only ate half. I also had 1c 1% milk and 2 mini buns MIL made. I made this light Carmel Mochacchino...'twas good! Last of the night: Country Choice organic soft baked double fudge brownie cookie (that's a mouth full!!) Not bad...2 pts.... Wednesday: 2pc toast w/2 Tbsp P.B/Jam, 1 coffee Lunch was at the Greek restaraunt. I ate 3 pc flaming cheese, approx.6 calamari then I ordered the roasted vegetable skewer with lemon potato's and greek salad. I also had 3 small bites Creme Brulee.... That night no one was very hungry so dinner was "Green Monsters" and we all shared Microwave popcorn. Thursday: I'm lacking pictures here so I appologize...but I had 2 pc toast and coffee. Lunch was had at the mall: Broccoli and cheese "pie" and some penne w/tomato sauce. I ate the pasta and 3/4 of the pie. I shared a bag of warm, cinnamon coated cashews with Lisa....so good..but not pt friendly. I had half of this Jugo Juice and brought the rest home for hubby. For dinner last night I made my vegetarian shepherd's pie.... Even Lisa really enjoyed it! It was delicious as always and I had a bun, and a glass of chocolate milk....(chocolate milk should be banned from my house. Thankfully it's almost gone!) I bought my pups a special treat too...Peanut butter orange biscuits...arent' they cute?! Hope your having a great week!! Regular blogging will commence soon!! related searches : Quick
