Raspberry Lime Rickey Cake

I made this cake for Joe for Father's Day last month.  Joe loves anything citrusy and I thought it would be a perfect cake.  It was.  We loved it and it was just as good eaten plain as it was with the raspberry sauce and whipped cream.
I was a tiny bit worried that there wouldn't be enough lime flavour as I didn't have (and wasn't sure where to find) lime oil.  I needn't have worried, the lime
