Spinach Balls
My facebook friend, Ms Selvi from USA forwarded me this spinach ball recipe which I have modified due to the inavailability of certain ingredients from where I am, that is Malaysia. You can serve this spinach balls as an appetizer or be just like us to home, have it with either rice, soups or curries. Ingredients: 50g spinach (cut in pieces, boiled until really soft and drain off all the water) 1 cup all purpose flour 1 cup grated parmesan cheese 3/4 cup melted butter 1 large red onion (diced) 1 tbsp chilly flakes 1 tsp crushed black pepper salt to taste Mix all these ingredients into a thick paste. Roll into balls of the size your prefer and place on a baking tray. Bake at 200c for 45 mins or until the colour becomes golden or if you prefer to be more crunchy, than dark brown. related searches : Spinach
